How is Warren Buffett the best investor in the world if us makes 100-400% annual returns?
I am one of the Independent Forex Managers registered with Professional Forex Trader. I trade over 15 years. I know a lot of Forex Management who have put up 300% + for 15 years + But not one is in Warren Buffett's league.
Answer is Compound interest for very long time - 30 to 50 years.
What about compound interest?
Warren Buffett invest since 50 years +. Each year interests are reinvested. It's only 20% maybe. But make a calculation during 50 years + add some years boom of some companies like Coca Cola during last century and now we understand why he win so much up to billions. This is not the same with ordinary traders.
After 50 years + and all these billions where Warren Buffet can invest?
There aren’t a lot of different companies he can consider. He can choose Coke versus Pepsi, Goldman Sachs versus Bank of America, IBM versus Apple. And guess how many other A-list investors are looking at those same stocks?
Buffett has 400 million shares of Coca-Cola. Yesterday the stock traded only 19 million. So even if he could take every single share sold, it would take him a month to get out of his position.
What is the difference with me?
I make 90% average returns every year on $10,000,000 total managed accounts. Investors takes their revenues each year even each quarter! So I can maybe make compound interest for one year but never for 50 years! But if some investors would like to reinvest during 50 years, waouuu I let you imagine.
Conclusion
Very long term compound interests makes Warren Buffett’s success so incredible: 20% that can scale beats 200% that can’t scale every time.
For our investors an average of 100-800% a year will be very good is not it!
